December 2018: Will my investment citizenship expire?
Answer: No. When you acquire citizenship under the Maltese
citizenship program, for example, you and your family enjoy
full citizenship for life, which can be passed on to future
generations by descent.
Please note that should you apply for a residency
program certain restrictions, such as expiration, might
apply.
For example, the Maltese Global Residency Program (GRP)
is a residency visa program that requires annual renewal
to avoid expiration. On the other hand, the Malta Residency
and Visa Program (MRVP) is a permanent residency program,
which means you will enjoy residency for life!
Please note that regardless of the type of residency program,
residency never passes on to your children. Please contact
us if you have any questions which program - citizenship
or residency - is best given your investment goals.
