The tables below provide estimated fees for applying for the Malta Citizenship by Investment Program, including all individuals indicated on the previous page.
The first table outlines costs for the 12-month residency option, while the second table details the 36-month residency option. Note that applicants are not required to reside in Malta full-time during the residency period.
The first results column (Real Estate Purchase) shows the fees for those opting to buy a home in Malta. The second results column (Real Estate Rental) displays the fees for those choosing to rent. Note that you must retain your home for the duration of the residency period plus five years after citizenship approval. Most applicants rent for the first year before deciding whether to continue renting or buy a property. You can switch from a lease to a purchase at any time.
The calculator includes government contributions, property investments, due diligence fees, and other major mandatory expenses. The Government Contribution is only due after citizenship has been approved in principle.
Please note that the total calculated does not include legal fees and is for informational purposes only. For an official quotation tailored to your specific circumstances, please contact us.
